BARF-Style Raw Feeding, Butcher Made

BARF feeding adds whole fruits, vegetables, and botanicals to a raw meat, organ, and bone foundation. The hard part has always been the produce prep. We built these blends to take that off your plate. Each one starts with our PMR base ground fresh in our butcher shop, then folded with a whole fruit and veggie puree. Thaw, portion, and serve.

B.A.R.F. Diet FAQ

What is BARF feeding?

BARF stands for Biologically Appropriate Raw Feeding. It builds on the prey-model raw approach by adding whole fruits, vegetables, and nutrient-dense botanicals to a base of meat, organ, and bone. The idea is that dogs thrive on a broader spectrum of whole foods, not just animal protein alone. Our BARF blends follow that philosophy with real, recognizable ingredients and nothing synthetic.

What's inside each blend?

Every blend starts with our whole-animal PMR base: muscle meat, ground bone, and organs (heart, gizzard, liver) from USDA-inspected animals raised on small Midwest family farms. Then we fold in a puree of carrots, yellow summer squash, kale, apples, bananas, blueberries, kelp, beet root powder, turmeric, and a touch of salt. That's it.

How is this different from other BARF blends?

These are made in our butcher shop at Montgomery Meats in Ladoga, Indiana. The same facility, same animals, same team that supplies our human retail customers. We grind and blend in small batches, freeze immediately, and skip high pressure pasteurization entirely. No synthetic vitamin packs, no starchy fillers, no bone meal.

How do I feed it?

Thaw, portion by your dog's weight, and serve. These work as a complete BARF meal on their own or as part of a protein rotation alongside our other blends. Available in Chicken, Turkey, and Pork. Grab a 3lb pack to try a single protein or an 18lb box to stock your freezer.

Can I mix this into my current raw rotation?

Yes. If you're already feeding our PMR blends or Pure Grinds, the BARF blends rotate in the same way. They add produce variety without changing how you portion or serve. Some feeders alternate between PMR and BARF across the week for a broader nutrient profile.

Is this suitable for puppies or small dogs?

BARF blends can work for puppies and small dogs, but portion size and bone content matter more at smaller body weights. If you're new to raw feeding a puppy or small breed, reach out to us and we're happy to help you figure out the right fit.
